Today's example programs:
July 6 - Because of the July 4 holiday, there will
be no late penalty for turning in Lab 3 (before July 13).
July 5 - The midterm exam will be given on Wednesday, July 12. It will be a one-hour,
closed book exam. Here is a review
document listing the topics to be covered and sample exam questions from previous
exams. The answers will be posted on Monday.
July 3 - There will be no TA office hours on July 4th.
Chuck Swanson will have extra office hours in Lind Hall 24 on
Wednesday, July 5, 10:30 - 12:00.
The random number functions rand() and
srand() are not described in the text.
A brief summary is given in the random number page. Here are

before attending the first lab section
meeting, if possible. This
can be done online at http://www.itlabs.umn.edu/.
You can also register
for your ITLabs account during
the first lab section meeting but then
you may have to complete Lab Assignment 1 outside
of the lab section time.
