CSCI 5105 Announcements

5/18/08: The final letter grades for the class have been submitted to the registrar. They should be available online within 24 hours.

5/16/08: Grit has been updated with all the scores for all assignments, exams, and projects.

5/16/08: A sample solution for the Final has been put up.  You may want to look at it first if you have questions on your graded exam.

5/12/08:
Please check the class forum for some clarifications on the Final exam. Further clarifications may also be posted there in case there are more questions, so you may want to check the forum periodically.

5/12/08: The final exam has been released. The graded exam and assignments will be handed back on Fri 5/16/08 between 1-3 pm in the instructor's office (CS/EE 4-209).

A sample solution for HW3 is also available on the Assignments page. In addition, HW3 has been graded and Grit has been updated.

5/6/08:
Reminder that the final exam will be take-home. It will be released on May 12 and will be due on May 13.  Also, all lecture videos are available at the UNITE site for viewing by on-campus students as well.

4/30/08: The TA will hold office hours after class on Thursday, May 1, at 12:30 in the TA office. The TA will not hold office hours on Monday, May 5. See the Forum for additional details.

4/23/08: Programming Assignment 3 has been released. This programming assignment is due at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, with the hardcopy to be handed in before class on Thursday, May 8. This is a HARD DEADLINE and no extensions will be given.

4/15/08: Homework 3 has been released. This homework is due in class on Tuesday, April 22.

4/10/08: The deadline for Programming Assignment 2 has been extended to 11:59pm on Mon April 14. The hardcopy is due in class on Tue April 15.

3/13/08: Programming Assignment 2 has been released. This programming assignment is due at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, with the hardcopy to be handed in before class on Thursday, April 10.

3/5/08: The Sample Solutions for Homework 2 are now online.

3/4/08: A sample mid-term exam has been put up.

2/26/08: Homework 2 has been released. This homework is due in class on Tuesday, March 4.

2/23/08: The Sample Solutions for Homework 1 are now online.

2/13/08: The Mid-term Exam will be held on March 6 (See the schedule). It will be an in-class exam.

2/12/08: Programming Assignment 1 has been released. This programming assignment is due at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2008, with the hardcopy to be handed in before class on Thursday, February 28,

2/10/08: A Web page containing RPC information, including the RPC tutorial that was presented in class and references to other information, has been added. This page is also linked to from the "Resources" page, which is available on the left side of these Web pages.

2/5/08: Homework 1 has been released. This homework is due in class on Tuesday, February 12.

2/4/08: The TA for the course, Tim Salo, will hold office hours on Mondays, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, in Room CS/EE 2-209.

1/29/08: The TA for the course has changed - Tim Salo will be the TA for the course.

1/22/08: Several links have been added - please check the left hand side. In particular, a schedule has been added,
where all lecture notes and important dates will be posted. Also, you can use the Class Forum link on the left to post comments/questions about the course and carry out discussions.

Homework 0 has been released. This homework will not be graded - but you are strongly advised to solve it. If you have difficulty solving it or are unfamiliar with any of the concepts, you must talk to the instructor ASAP.
