  • 2007/1/18 Apologies to all that we were unable to complete the second half of the first class, due to configuration difficulties with the in-classroom computer and audio-visual equipment. Rest assured that these difficulties will be fully resolved by the system staff before the next class.

Welcome to CSci 1121, Introduction to the Internet

  • 2007/1/17 Note that Lab 1 is to complete the "Introduction to Unix" class supplied by the ACM. This is held in EE/CSci 2-170 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm on Tuesday January 23, rather than the usual time and place for the lab, or other times if you can't make it. After you have done this, you may find the Unix Commands link to the left useful.

  • 2007/1/17 Please complete the survey (details emailed to you at your university X.500 email address) if you have not already done so.

  • 2007/1/17 You must have an ITLabs account before the lab on Tuesday 23rd. See http://www.itlabs.umn.edu for setting up your account. You will need your general student X.500 account user name and password in order to set up your IT Labs account.

  • 2007/1/17 Please read the syllabus carefully.
