  • [12-07-2008] Here is a website with more information on the final exam topics. Information on the final exam

  • [12-03-2008] - IMPORTANT PROJECT REMINDER: When submitting your project code make sure that your player runs properly on a CSCI 1-260 machine (ebony.itlabs.umn.edu for example). If it does not run on one of these machines your player will be disqualified from the in-class tournament and points will be deducted from your project. Also ensure that only one submission per group is made, the header information is filled in with the ID and x500 of you and your partner, and the player is named as "your_x500".scm as detailed in the writeup.

  • [11-30-2008] - Homework 4 is posted. It is due Monday December 8th

  • [11-24-2008] I (Nyalleng) am going to be about an hour late for office hours tomorrow (Tues. Nov.25), so I'll have my office hours from 11am-1pm.

  • [11-24-2008] - Office hours on Wednesday evening this week (Nov 26 at 17:30) will not be held.

  • [11-19-2008] - A practice Midterm 2 from 2007 is available here. A list of topics for the midterm can be found here.

  • [11-12-2008] - Midterm 2 has been pushed back to 11/24 for the day lecture and 11/25 for the evening lecture. See the updated schedule.

  • [10-30-2008] - A hint has been added to problem 3 part a on Homework3.

  • [10-27-2008] - Homework3 is posted. It is due at the beginning of class on November 3rd for the day class and Novmeber 4th for the night class.

  • All students in the EVENING CLASS may hand in their homework in lab on Thursday. This means ONLY students in lab sections (11, 12 and 13)

  • Homework2 is posted. It is due at the beginning of class on Wednesday October 8th for the day class and October 7th for the night class.

  • I made a change to question 4 in homework 1. You do not have to calculate the log, just e.

  • Homework1 is posted. It is due at the beginning of class on Monday September 29th.

  • Just a reminder, you may go to ANY TAs office hours to get your lab checked.

  • We have updated office hours for the course TAs. Please consult the staff page for the information.
