December 19, 2007 The final exam has been graded. The average score was 73.6. Final grades will be computed tomorrow or Friday.
December 12, 2007 Eric, the instructor, will have additional office hours each day until December 18.
  • Wednseday, Dec. 12: 10:00am-11:00am
  • Thursday, Dec. 13: 10:00am-11:00am (normal office hours)
  • Friday, Dec. 14: 1:00pm-2:00pm (changed from original time of 10:00am)
  • Monday, Dec. 17: 10:00am-11:00am
  • Tuesday, Dec. 18: 10:00am-11:00am (normal office hours)
December 12, 2007Exam 2 and Homework 6 grades should be on GRIT. As always, let me know if you have any questions or cannot access your grades. Note that the extra credit problem will be counted separately from your Homework 6 grade.
December 11, 2007 An additional axiomatic semantics practice problem is available here.
If you struggled with the axiomatics semantics problem on the last exam, you might want to try to solve this one to be sure that you can solve similar problems if they appear on the final exam.
December 11, 2007 Final Exam review slides have been updated to show that the exam is on Tuesday, not on Thursday as I erroneously stated in the first version of the slides. The date and time posted on the syllabus is correct (and always has been).
December 11, 2007 I (Eric the instructor) had to leave quickly today since we had to do the evaluations. Thus, if you wanted to ask me more questions about grading the exam you didn't have a chance. If you have quetions, please stop by my office sometime before the final and we can talk.
December 11, 2007 An additional axiomatic semantics practice problem will be posted here sometime this evening. Stay tuned.
December 11, 2007 Homework 6 will be graded by sometime tomorrow. Check with Eric (the TA) at his office hours in the morning to see if he has them. After that, they will be in Eric's (the instructor) office and you can collect them there and discuss any questions that you may have.
December 11, 2007 Final Exam review slides are now posted.
Decemver 4, 2007In Homework 5, Problem 1, parts 2 and 3 (ML type inference), some of you had an extra 'a -> before the int's. If this was because the underscore in the function names did not appear in your PDF viewer, email me and I can give you your points back. But the important thing, especially for the upcoming exam, is that you know that your answer was correct if there really was no underscore there.
