12/01/2006 - The presentation review form I will be using to grade project presentations is posted here.

11/29/2006 - Nick's office hours are rescheduled to 3:30-5pm today.  As always, if you need to see me and can't come during office hours, send email and we'll set up an appointment.

10/23/2006 - Homework 2 is posted here.  The correct VM images should roll out later today.  Klein's "Cross-Site Scripting Explained" paper is here.

5:30 PM -  VM images have been updated, you should now be able to proceed with homework 2 as described.

10/06/2006 - ITLabs linux labs are closed over the weekend.  You can still access the machines (e.g. itclusN.itlabs.umn.edu) remotely via SSH from any ITLabs Unix box.  (e.g. the EECS 4-250 or Walter 103).  Remember to use ssh -X in order to enable X forwarding.

10/06/2006 - The itclus9-itclus12 machines are using 64-bit instruction x86 processors, whereas the VMs on these machines emulate 32-bit x86es.  This means that on these machines (itclus9-itclus12 only), copying /usr/bin/gdb to the VM will not work.  ITLabs has installed a 32-bit x86 gdb binary at /export/scratch/vmware/gdb on these machines, which you can upload to your VM if you want.

9/27/2006 - Nick's office hours are rescheduled to 3:30-5pm today. (Or, as always, by appointment; send me an email)

9/18/2006 - Instructions for accessing the virtual machines for homework 1 are posted here.

9/11/2006 - Homework 1 is posted here.  You can download the source code for the homework here.
