Dec 23 Final grades will not be posted in GRIT. If you want to see your class grade, use UMN grade system. If you want to know your particular score for the final test, see Loren next semester.
Dec 3 Announcement about assignment 5: You may not change the SlowDatum class, or the SlowDataStore class. Apologies for not being clear in the writeup.
Nov 22 There was a bug in Assignment 5! Please re-download SlowDatum.java.
Nov 17 Andy will not have office hours on Monday, Nov. 20th .
Nov 15 Quiz 4 concepts and sample questions are up in student-questions.
Nov 14 There will be a study session for Quiz 4 on Friday. Time 11:00 - 1:00, EE/CS 2-260
Oct 24 Sample questions and concepts to know for Quiz 3 have been posted in the Student-questions section
Oct 23 There will be a study session for Quiz 3 on Thursday from 2:15 - 3:45 in EE/CS 3-210.
Oct 18 Reminder: You may only work with the same partner for assignments twice. You may have to switch partners for Assignment 3 if you've already worked with the same partner for assignments 1 and 2.
Oct 16 Professor Terveen's office hours on Friday, the 20th are cancelled. He will have make-up office hours from 4-5 pm on Thursday, the 19th.
Oct 5 Sample quiz questions and review topics have been posted in the "student questions" section. Also, assignment 1 regrades should be up in GRIT now.
Oct 4 Assignment 1 will be regraded! Hanhuai was accidentally using Java 1.4.2 rather than 1.5. She will regrade and get feedback to all students as soon as possible.
Oct 4 Quiz 2 review session will be at 10:45 on Friday. It is planned to be in EE/CS 2-260.
Sep 28 Assignment 2 has changed slightly! Please re-download! Apologies, but we overlooked the difficulty in writing an enum that contained numerals. The new version should make writing the enum classes much easier. You will also need to get A2Test.java again.
Sep 27 For those students who did not complete last Tuesday's lab, you can e-mail your solution to Andy or come to his office hours before next Tuesday to get checked off. Instructions on how to update your account to use the new version of eclipse are in the course FAQ.
Sep 26 Quiz grades are up in GRIT. Also, Lab checks through Lab3 should be up. Please be sure to double-check your Labs and get back to Andy, I'm sure I missed some.

Sep 20 Reminder: Sample questions for Quiz 1 are due today (Wednesday 9/20) in class.
Sep 18 Andy will miss his Thursday office hours on Sep 21 as well. Sorry.
Sep 15 Two things: Sample quiz 1 questions are up. Also, grades (consisting of Labs completed so far and Assignment0) are in GRIT.
